Nowadays, in coincidence with the growth of internet and e-commerce, setting up a website may be considered as the fastest and most economical way to earn more income or branding for businesses. As a crucial component of a website, the interface, which creates 1st impression of the brand to its potential customers, has to be selected carefully. Simple website templates are good choice for beginners because of three following reasons.
1. It’s easy to express your style with simple website templates
Firstly, before buying a theme, website builders have to make sure that its style will fit with their promoted products. Customers visiting a baby shop will definitely prefer a colorful theme rather than a black and white cover, which is more suitable with an auto garage. Abuse of features and details can lead to typical mistakes when choosing a theme such as too dense and heavy loaded designs with flying banners, animations, different text fonts, many columns and so on. A clear-cut and minimalistic web design is the simplest way to express your style at starting phrase. Gradually when more knowledge about customer reaction is collected, addition of accessories to the web will be more practical and harmonized. Choosing a simple website free powerpoint slides has saved time for website owners in this goal.
2. An easily customizable template will refresh looks without troubles
Secondly, simple templates are easy to customize. The cover of the web is similar to an outfit of a person. If wearing only 1 suit for the life time can make the wearer feel uncomfortable and be judged negatively by surrounding people, a website can encounter the same problems. However, the question is how to create a fresh and commercial look yet avoid misleading visitors that they are entering a different site. In this case, it isn’t necessary to buy a new theme, which generates more costs and higher possibility of confusion as long as the 1st template is flexible and easy to change. A minor change can create a huge improvement in users’ behaviors. Again, selecting a neat and changeable web template will free website owners of trouble in the long run by effortless adjustments.
3. It’s not only about time but also financial saving
Thirdly, besides the matter of time, these simple website free powerpoint themes will economize the process of online starting up. The balance between cost and interest is always the most important calculation of all businesses. In comparison with cost of hiring a dedicated website designer, the expense for the web templates is much lower. There is wide range of selection for both free and premium templates. Noticeably, free html templates are often provided with limited functions without support whereas some of premium template providers present more impressive benefits such as SEO parameters, color variation, integrated extension and lifetime support.
Reference: The aforementioned extra-benefit of SEO parameters implies that the template provider has optimized the design in order that a buyer who hasn’t had any knowledge of SEO can construct content and the website professionally to rank higher.
On the other hand, opponent ideas may argue that using the predetermined free powerpoint backgrounds can create a series of website with no different looks. This argument may be true to some extent. However, in the general view, “simple” doesn’t mean artless. In fact, the trend of web design is moving towards simplicity and multi-purpose. The most important factor is creativity of web owners. Varied from demands and purposes, with little skillful adjustment, minimalistic webs can become fashionable showcases of their owners.
Finally, all is about Return of Investment. Remember that in online business, traffic means money and there are tips to save time for more traffic. Choosing simple website templates is one of them.

The holidays are a time for you and your family, friends and loved ones to gather together to celebrate and enjoy one another’s company. Whether this is at your own home or that of a family member, the extra load holiday visitors put on plumbing systems can cause problems, especially if you haven’t had regular plumbing service.
Here are some common holiday plumbing issues, and tips to help you avoid needing to call a plumbing service during your family gatherings.
Avoid Garbage Disposal Repair
Don’t overload your garbage disposal. Avoid a mid-holiday garbage disposal repair by running your garbage disposal periodically throughout the day instead of allowing waste to pile up, and always run cold water while it works. In addition, avoid running stringy, fibrous materials through your garbage disposal. This includes carrots, banana peels, celery and pumpkin pulp.
Not Enough Hot Water
A common enough holiday film scene is a reality for many households over the holidays. Featuring family members screaming at one another to stop taking such long showers and using all the hot water, this common plumbing service problem can be avoided by following these tips:
– Take advantage of times when guests will be likely to bathe or shower by running dishwashers and washing machines at those times, such as at night.
– Ask your guests to space out their showers to make it less likely your hot water heater will run of water.
– Maximize the hot water available in your home by turning up the temperature on your water pressure while you have guests.
Low Water Pressure
Avoid calling a plumbing service for low water pressure in your showers by removing build-up from showerheads before your guests arrive. Soak showerheads in vinegar overnight by either removing the showerhead and soaking it in a bowl, or by attaching a plastic bag filled with vinegar using a rubber band or other tie. The next day, use an old toothbrush to gently scrape off any mineral deposits to allow water to flow more freely through the showerhead.
Pipes and Clogged Drains
High usage can often cause a completely clogged drain, especially if your sink was slow-draining to begin with. Follow these preventative tips to reduce the emergency plumber likelihood of a clogged drain:
– NEVER pour fat or grease or down a drain. Grease congeals and can cause a clogged drain or pipe, so wipe pots and pans using paper towels before washing.
– Keep a garbage can readily available in your bathroom, to reduce the chance that guests will flush items that may cause clogged pipes, such as feminine products, cotton balls and face cleaning pads.
– Use Bio Clean once a month as a preventive maintenance procedure to help you avoid having to call a professional plumbing service for clogged drains. Bio Clean contains healthy bacteria and enzymes that consume slime and other gunk that can build up on pipe walls.
Finally, to avoid the most costly plumbing service – frozen or burst pipes – ensure that any exposed plumbing is well insulated. Take basic plumbing winterization steps, such as caulking areas where pipes enter your home and shutting down irrigation systems and outdoor faucets.
This hair transplant information sheet sets out 5 basic points you should know if you are contemplating this solution for hair loss.
The actual transplant procedure requires extracting hair from the side and back of the scalp which is DHT resistant and transplanting it to the bald areas. Part of the hair transplant information you need to know revolves around the specialized vocabulary used:
Hair Density – the number of hair follicles per square centimeter of scalp.
Scalp Laxity – how tight or loose the scalp is. Hair extraction is much easier on a scalp that is flexible and loose.
Donor Sites or Stable Sites – the areas of the scalp not affected by DHT which are used to supply the hair for transplantation.
Whatever hair transplant information you read to the contrary, you must understand that in most cases, hair transplantation is a procedure that works for men, not women. There is a marked difference between male and female hair loss. Men suffer from the infamous MPB (male pattern baldness) which results in a horseshoe pattern of hair around the sides and back of the head.
Women often suffer diffuse hair loss, that is, a general thinning of the hair all over the scalp. The front hairline is mostly unaffected, unlike men who experience a receding hairline. A woman’s hair can be affected by DHT, no matter where it is on the scalp. If hair at the donor site is affected by DHT, it stands to reason it can easily fall out once it is transplanted to another area.
Men, however, have DHT-resistant areas on the back and sides of the scalp, and it is these stable areas that provide hair for successful transplantation.
Coarse hair or curly hair is the best for hair transplantation, offering the best coverage. There is a greater challenge for the surgeon when the candidate has fine or straight hair because this kind of hair lies flat and close to the scalp, thus providing only minimal coverage.
Another challenge is with persons who have a high contrast between the color of their hair and the color of their skin. A more natural-looking hair transplant in turkey can be achieved on persons with dark skin and dark hair, or conversely, on persons with blonde, light-colored hair and fair skin. Individuals who do not fit this criterion need to search carefully for a highly qualified surgeon to perform the procedure.
Much hair transplant information you read concentrates on the mechanics of the hair transplant procedure. In addition to putting emphasis on the mechanics of the transplant procedure, it is equally important to give consideration to the art of hair transplantation.
Each individual is different when it comes to the shape of the face, characteristics of the hairline, etc. A skilled surgeon will take these individual characteristics into account and perform a transplant that blends in with the natural contours and shape of the client’s scalp, head and face. A good surgeon will be aware of what is pleasing to the eye and what will look unnatural and false. Try and get to see firsthand the results on previous clients, or ask for photographs of clients who have had the surgeon perform the procedure on them.
Be aware that hair transplant costs can vary widely. Some sources say the costs can range between four and twenty thousand dollars. The cost of a graft can be between $3 and $8 with $5 being the general average. The number of grafts required and the number of sessions needed to perform the grafts will have a great bearing on the total cost.
It is therefore extremely important to have thorough consultations with your prospective surgeon so you have an accurate picture of what the financial outlay is likely to be.
As one of the leading hair transplantation centers in the country, they welcome patients from all over the world to join its list of more than 2000 patients over the last 8 years. In the Hair Center of Turkey, you can reach your dream hair with their expert and professional doctors and staff working in their center so they perform your hair transplantation operations successfully. You can have the desired healthy hair by choosing the operation you want and regaining your lost hair. It is easy to have your bushy, lively, and healthy hair like before. they continue to serve their valued patients successfully in hair transplantation and other fields with our expert team of doctors for years.
“Education can be a catalyst to achieving a wide variety of goals,” says University of Phoenix faculty member Dr. Chris Mendoza. Mendoza’s life story is testament to that statement: Though he graduated high school reading at a “seventh or eighth grade level,” through application and hard work he moved up the educational ladder, earning a college degree (University of Texas at El Paso, 1981), an MBA, and a doctorate in business administration (University of Phoenix, 2007). He is now a successful executive who heads the recruiting and marketing department for a division of a Fortune 200 financial services company.
Stories like Mendoza’s are becoming more common as Latino immigrants come to the U.S., make a better living, and send their children to college. Though the situation is improving, Latinos still have yet to catch up to other ethnicities in educational achievement. Latinos are the least educated major population group in the nation, with Latino males only having an average of 10.6 years of schooling, compared with an average of 12.2 years for black males and 13.3 years for white males.1 Only 11% of Latinos ages 25 and over have a bachelor’s degree, versus 29% of whites and 25% of other non-Hispanics.2
The problem is not that Latinos are failing to attend college, or that they lack understanding of the value of an education. In fact, only Asian high school graduates attend college at higher rates than do Latinos.3 Nearly 9 out of 10 (88%) Hispanics ages 18 to 25 say that college is important for getting ahead in life, and 77% say their parents think going to college is the most important thing they can do after high school.4 The issue of concern is that too many Latinos are leaving college without earning a degree.
Also of interest is the fact that Latino women are outpacing Latino men in terms of educational attainment. In 2006, for example, only 41% of Latino undergraduates were male.5 This disparity is all the more startling given that the gender gap seems to be leveling off for males of other ethnicities.6
In part, the difference in Latinos’ and Latinas’ educational achievement can be explained by the fact that more Latinas go back to school as adults (ages 25 and up). But many other factors-cultural, societal, and economic-intertwine to explain both the gender gap and why Latinos are not earning postsecondary degrees at a rate proportional to other ethnic groups. Many Latino Men Feel Pressure to Enter the Workforce Rather than Pursue a Degree
Most Latino students are nontraditional students: Many are over 25, attend school part-time, opt for two-year programs rather than four-year ones, and have parents, children, spouses, or other family members to support.7 The selfsame factors that make a student nontraditional, however, have been identified as risk factors for degree noncompletion by the U.S. Department of Education.8
And a large number of these students work while attending school, which may be one reason why they opt to attend school part-time. In many low-income or working-class immigrant families, young people feel a responsibility to contribute to the family’s income as soon as they are old enough to work. A sizeable proportion of young immigrants drop out of high school in order to work full time. (Second-generation Latinos ages 16 to 19, in contrast, are four times more likely to be in school and not working at all than immigrants from their same age group.)9 Nearly three-quarters of 16- to 25-year old Latinos who had ended their education while in or shortly after high school say they did so in order to support their families.10 This emphasis on work may be one reason fewer Hispanic men than women attain college degrees.
“For Latino men, the pressure to enter the workforce is strong,” says Daniel Villao, State Director of the California Construction Academy at the University of California, Los Angeles Labor Center, a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance, Accounting, and Related Business Fields, and a University of Phoenix alumnus (MBA 2008). “Traditionally, girls have been expected to get an education and get married. They have not been expected to be the head of a household or contribute [financially] in any meaningful way.”
“This means that, without intending to, we have created a wonderful wave of bright young Latinas coming into their own through the educational system in the U.S.,” says Villao, whose parents emigrated to the U.S. from Ecuador in 1963. “This has created a significant opportunity for young women to be plugged into career ladders in a way that has never existed for young Hispanic men.” First- and Second-Generation Americans More Likely to Attend College than Immigrants
A highly significant determinant of whether or not a Latino will pursue higher education is how long he or his family have been in the U.S. Families that have been in the U.S. longer are more likely to send their children to college. Only 29% of immigrant Latinos ages 18 to 25 say they plan to get a college degree, versus 60% of U.S.-born Latinos of the same age group.11 (As further proof of the cultural differences between immigrant and native-born Latinos, consider that 60% percent of 18- to 25-year-olds of all ethnicities want to attend college, the same percentage as U.S.-born Latinos.12) As 35% of Latino youth are foreign-born, this means that millions of young Latinos do not see Aegean College in their future.13
“The experience of someone who is an immigrant is very different from someone who is a first-generation or 1.5 generation [someone who emigrates as a child or young teenager],” Mendoza says. “Immigrants may not have role models for succeeding in school in their families. If they’re struggling financially, the decision whether to go to school or earn money is a clear one: The sons or daughters need to work to support the family.”
“In the latter case,” he continues, “the economic condition of the family has likely improved to the point where they don’t have to worry about the basics, like having somewhere to live and putting food on the table, and can think about things like preparing their kids for college, helping them to have good SAT scores, and encouraging them to take science and math and AP classes.” Lack of Information and Role Models May Discourage Latinos from Attending College
Many Latinos, especially those who are immigrants or the children of immigrants, lack the cultural capital-knowledge about how to apply for and succeed in college-that students from more privileged backgrounds enjoy. First-generation college students are at greater risk for dropping out simply because they do not have the experiences of friends and family members to guide them through the higher education system. They may not know how to write a college admissions essay, register for courses, interact with professors, write long term papers, or schedule their study time-things that are second nature for students who have been expecting to go to college since early childhood. Furthermore, immigrants and their children may mistakenly believe that they are not “college material.”
“There’s a lack of information about education [among many Latinos], a lack of understanding about what an advanced degree can help you accomplish in life,” Villao says. “If your mother and father are working-class folks who never had anyone in the family complete high school, they might see university studies as something for people with money and means, and not as something their family can aspire to.”
Cultural differences may also make Latinos reluctant to apply for financial aid, Mendoza says. “Hispanics have a stigma about borrowing money,” he says. “In our culture, you live within your means and you don’t exceed that. If you talk to a family that makes a modest living about borrowing money to send their child to school, it’s a foreign conversation to them. They don’t want to spend money that doesn’t belong to them, or be stuck with a loan they might not be able to repay, even though the potential advantages might outweigh the drawbacks.” He points out, however, that families that have been in the U.S. longer are much more receptive to the idea of borrowing money to pay for school. The Right High School Can Make All the Difference.
With all the news recently regarding natural disasters and terrorism fears, it is easy to forget that the most common emergency or disaster scenario effecting families are house fires. Home evacuation plans are crucial for every family and might be used in many types of emergencies requiring evacuation, but they are especially important for fire planning.
Taking the time to plan and practice can mean the difference between life and death. There are many aspect to consider, but the 4 most crucial aspects to emergency disaster preparedness in the home are related to escape.
- Make a detailed map of your home
- Practice escape drills
- Have a plan in case you are separated
- Have and practice using an emergency preparedness kit or pack.
Let’s go over these four crucial aspects to an escape plan in detail.
- Make a detailed map of your home – The map should include all entries and exits, including accessible windows. Label the primary and secondary escape route from each room. Label each room that someone sleeps in and who sleeps there. Label the shut off valves for gas, water and electricity. Designate a gathering place on the map, that is outside the home.
- Practice your escape plan – A plan is only as good as the knowledge and comfort level of the people using it. Everyone in the family must know how to escape, whether through a door or through a window. In a two story home, you’ll want to invest in a fire escape ladder that allows you to descend from an upstairs window. Experts recommend one in each room, especially if a hallway fire could block access from one room to the next. Practice shutting off valves for gas, electricity, etc..Don’t really do it, just make sure everyone knows where they are. online escape room Have a pair of shoes, gloves and a flashlight or light stick near every bed. Make sure everyone knows where the Emergency Disaster Preparedness kit is, and make a plan for someone grabbing it when you exit the house.
- Have a plan in case you are separated – In additions to having a gathering place designated outside the home you need some other plans in place as well. Have an out-of-state and out-of-town person designated as a contact, for each family to call in case you are separated. Try and have the phone numbers memorized, inside your cell phone and posted by phones in the house.
- Have and practice using you Emergency Disaster Preparedness Kit. – It has become common place for people to think in terms of a 72 hour kit, but more and more, as you speak with experts in the field, they are recommending a five day kit. This has to do with everything from how long it may take help to arrive in a larger scale disaster, to the better safe than sorry mentality of having a bit more water and food than you need, rather than a bit less. Once either purchase or put together your kit, take the time to familiarize yourself with the items insides and how to use them. In an emergency situation, it will be comforting to know what is there, and imperative to not add stress by being confused by the contents.
Emergency and Disaster Preparedness is not an option. An ounce of forethought now, is worth a pound of reaction later.
Are you doing your own plumbing for the first time? You probably don’t even know where to start. It’s no secret that doing your own plumbing for the first time can be a bit overwhelming. Below are some tips that can help to make maintaining your own plumbing a bit smoother.
Make sure everyone that lives in your house knows where to find and use the main water shut off valve in case there is a burst pipe emergency. This is especially important if you live in an area where your pipes may freeze. Take a moment to show your family members where the valve is and how to properly shut it off.
Frozen and bursting pipes from harsh winter weather is a problem that no-one wants, so plan now to winterize your exterior faucets and pipes against freezing conditions. A simple way to accomplish this is to find the exterior water shut-off valve located inside your home (often located in the basement). Turn off the water valve to stop water flow, and then open up the outside faucets to drain out any water that has collected. Be sure to turn off the outside water faucets tightly after the water has drained out. Take in any hoses you may have outside so they don’t crack from the cold weather.
Frequently inspect the floors around toilets for softness; this can tell you whether or not the floors are damaged. Sit in a reversed position, putting one foot on each side of the toilet and shift your weight from side to side to check if the floor feels slightly unstable. Picking up on any problems now will definitely work to save you money later. It’s the difference in a little maintenance and total floor replacement.
Do not put your hand in the garbage disposal to remove a clog. This can be potentially harmful. Always use tongs to get out whatever is stuck in the disposal. Using tongs is much safer, and you will make sure your hand does not get cut on the disposer’s sharp blades.
One way to prevent pipes from freezing during the winter is to keep cabinet doors in your house that contain the pipes open. This can insure that they get adequate heat to keep warm. Make sure also, to unhook and kind of hose outside and run a little water to clear the pipes of any remaining water going outside.
One of the things that you can do to maximize the security of your home is to seal all of the cracks in your outdoor faucets. Even a tiny crack can intensify as the season progresses and lead to serious problems down the road. Reduce drips and leaks for optimal protection.
If you have clogged pipes, try cleaning them with an enzyme pipe cleaner. This type of cleaner uses natural bacteria to transform sludge into liquid, that makes it disappear from the pipes. The best options on the market now are enzyme cleaners.
You can remove unsightly mineral buildup from your shower head by soaking it in vinegar overnight. This loosens the deposits, and in the morning you only need to wipe off the residue with a rag. If your shower head is high up an not removable, place vinegar in a plastic bag, slip the bag over the shower head and hold in place with a twist tie.
As you have seen, doing your md sewer plumbing is not as scary as it may appear at first. Just think of all of the benefits it has and all of the expenses it can take care of, along with all of the money it can save you in the long run.
